Liz Dirksen

Liz was born and raised in Bettendorf and graduated from Pleasant Valley High School. She went on to become a Hawkeye and graduated from the University of Iowa in 2003. She’s been blessed to be walking with the Lord most of her life. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of seven and has never turned back. She grew in her faith a lot in high school, which is partially what led her to be a high school youth leader for over 20 years, where she could share her love for the Lord and students. She loves that she now gets to share the love of all things creative with a biblical perspective to our CDA Warriors! Liz started attending Coram Deo Bible Church shortly after its doors opened. She later worked for CDBC for almost 9 years in several different capacities. She’s very excited to be “back”, but now teaching at CDA! Her favorite verse is 2 Timothy 1:7 – “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
