Jared Rasmussen

Jared serves as the Junior High Director at Coram Deo Bible Church and is passionate about helping students grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and develop a love for God’s Word. Raised in northwest Illinois, Jared grew up in a Bible-believing home and was actively involved in his local church from an early age. At 9 years old, Jared surrendered his life to Christ after his parents walked him through the entirety of the gospel. His faith has given him a deep appreciation for God’s grace and a passion for walking alongside students as they navigate the challenges of junior high. Jared and his wife, Erica, were married in 2022 and moved to Iowa City thereafter. In 2024, they returned to the Quad Cities to become part of the Coram Deo church family and invest in its ministries. Jared began serving as a pastoral resident in 2024 before stepping into the role of Junior High Director in 2025. Jared loves teaching Scripture in a way that is engaging, understandable, and centered on the gospel. He is committed to partnering with parents to help students know Christ, grow in their faith, and become lifelong followers of Jesus.
