Alex was born and raised in Aurora, Illinois, and grew up in a home that did not regularly attend church. In April of his senior year at the University of Iowa, his dad presented the Gospel to him following some difficult times in Alex’s life. It was upon hearing the good news of salvation that Alex repented of his sins and made Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior.
After graduating from Iowa in June 2022, Alex moved to the Quad Cities for his job in sales and later began attending Coram Deo in the early fall. Alex quickly got plugged into Coram Deo’s College Ministry and later started serving in Youth Group. In late 2023, Alex began to feel the draw to pursue full-time ministry and started seeking out opportunities to serve in greater capacities, to learn more about church ministry, and to grow in his walk with Christ. During this time, Alex also met his now wife, Nickie, at a Coram Deo College event, and after just over two years of dating and engagement, the two were married in June 2026.
