Lisa was born and raised in the Quad Cities. She was raised Catholic, and attended mass almost every weekend with her parents and younger brother. She came to know her Lord and Savior in her mid-twenties. Shortly after this, she was baptized to publicly proclaim her love for Jesus and what he has done for her and within her.
Lisa received both a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from Western Illinois University (Macomb) in elementary education (B.S.) and special education (M.S.). Her love for kids led her to teaching, but her love for the Lord and sharing that love led her to teach in a Chrisitan school here in the Q.C.
Lisa has been married to her husband, Tyson, since 2002. Tyson serves on the security team at Coram Deo. Together they have two boys. Lucas and Tanner both play dek hockey, and Tanner also plays baseball and basketball.Our time is spent watching the boys doing what they love, and hanging out with our dog, Bailey.
Lisa currently serves as the 8th Grade Teacher/Math Specialist at Coram Deo Academy.
