Richard was born and spent most of his life in the Quad Cities. He grew up in a home that did not attend church. It wasn’t until his freshman year of college, when he felt compelled to purchase and read the Bible, that he gave his life to Christ at the age of 20.
Richard earned a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Iowa State University in 2024. He is also currently enrolled at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is pursuing a master’s degree in applied theology.
Richard has been attending Coram Deo Bible Church since the summer of 2022. That same summer, he met his future wife, Ella, and they were married in May of 2024. Richard desires to help the next generation grow in their faith and their Biblical knowledge. He ultimately wants everyone he interacts with to see and savor Christ, even in the most difficult of situations.
