Ashley grew up in Moline, Illinois and graduated from Alleman High School in 2006. After High School, she attended Southern Illinois University where she received her Bachelors in Elementary Education with a minor in English. She also studied real estate where she worked for a local company until deciding to stay at home with her children. She is excited that God has led her back to teaching.
Ashley was raised in the Catholic schools and had a good understanding of Jesus Christ but didn’t fully surrender to him until her early 30’s. My teens and twenties led me astray and I thought I could do it all on my own. It took hitting a few dark valleys to realize my strength didn’t come from myself, but from the Lord. My dependance on him is constant. In a world that is so self-focused, I am grateful to have the opportunity to teach in a school whose primary foundation is stemmed from the ultimate source of truth, Jesus Christ.
Ashley and her husband, Aaron, have 4 children: Preston, Parker, Alex and Gia. When they are not busy with sporting events, they enjoy being outside and traveling. They have been attending Corman Deo Bible Church since 2021, where Ashley has deepened her relationship with Christ through the bold teaching, Women’s Ministry, Small Group and relationships with like-minded believers. We feel blessed every time we walk through the doors that we found such an amazing church that speaks truth directly from the Bible. The Coram Deo community feels like home.
