Jamie grew up in Cedar Falls, IA and has always had a passion for sports and physical activity. This led her to pursue a degree in Fitness Management from Wartburg College, graduating in 2009.
While Jamie was raised Catholic, she made the decision to give her life to Jesus in her early 30’s. It was this spiritual transformation that led her to discover and fall in love with Coram Deo in 2020. Jamie is so excited to be part of a school that aligns with her faith and values, and believes physical education is a wonderful way to honor God by stewarding the bodies he has given us.
Jamie and her husband Josh got married in 2016 and have two wonderful children, Hazel and Ronin. She enjoys spending her free time reading a good book, watching or playing sports, and going on walks with friends.
She is absolutely thrilled to be joining the Coram Deo Academy community as the new PE teacher and feels blessed by the opportunity to work together to help our students grow strong in both body and spirit!
